About this program

USTA Tennis 101 is designed for new players or returning players to have fun and learn (or even re-learn) the sport. Each class during this 6-session program includes engaging and interactive tennis activities plus fun games so you can build your skills. Participants who complete the program will possess the fundamental skills in order to be confident in enjoying tennis. You do not need any prior tennis experience to enjoy USTA Tennis 101.

What to expect from Tennis 101

Tennis has grown to be the healithest sport to play due to the social aspects and the conditioning it provides. Want to learn the game of tennis? No prior tennis experience is necessary...sign up for our 6-week sessions. Sessions include racket skills, games, strokes and strategy...with a focus on enjoyment of the game. You will learn the basics of tennis using low compression orange balls and regulation yellow balls in our sessions on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm. Once you are ready, you can play in one of our adult leagues if you so choose.

This 6-week program runs from June 25th through July 30th.
