The Alexandria Area Tennis Association has received three grants from USTA Northern this spring in preparation for the 2021 spring and summer tennis season. 

AATA received two COVID 19 Program Preparedness Grants of $500 each. These grants are intended to help reduce the costs of opening and running vital programming safely for the section’s partners.

The AATA also received a USTA Northern Community Tennis Grant of $2,000 to update and enhance our website and on-line social media presence. This includes funding for an independent design contractor to get the site up-and-running and training for our Board members to maintain the new marketing tools. 

Overall, USTA Northern has allocated over $500,000 to facilities and community tennis partners within Minnesota, North and South Dakota and Northwestern Wisconsin during the COVID-19 pandemic.
