USTA's Coaching Fundamentals Workshop is a two-day, on-court, face-to-face workshop for non-certified coaches focusing on coaching and teaching tennis to beginners through low-intermediate players of all ages. National Coach Developers approved by the USTA will facilitate the training.

The USTA Coaching Fundamentals workshop is open to anyone 18+ (And minors 16+ with parent/legal guardian signed waiver)

USTA recommends registered coaches take an online pre-course before attending the 2-day on-court training. You will gain access to the online course after completing full registration.

Upon successful completion of both days (first day = 8 hours, second day = 4 hours), workshop participants will receive a Record of Completion from USTA. The Coaching Fundamentals workshop is recognized by certifying organizations and is the first step toward earning a Level 1 Coach Certification, if desired.
