Play Facilitator Workshop (PFW)

• This workshop is designed for: new coaches working with beginner players & passionate tennis players that might be interested in coaching in the future. Experienced coaches working with beginner players are welcome.  
• Focus of workshop – how to organize, coach and establish an athlete-centered environment
  • Organize – get an activity started through an effective demonstration
  • Coach – deliver the three components of a group lesson and provide basic instruction
  • Athlete-centered environment – utilize the principles of the American Development Model to create fun, supportive and impactful session.
• We will take a 30 minute break for lunch (provided by USTA Southern) during this workshop. 

THIS WORKSHOP WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON THE INDOOR COURTS AT ASHEVILLE RACQUET CLUB SOUTH.
