Welcome to the Delaware District Adult Learn to Play Programs. Our beginner class is recommended for players who are brand new to the sport, or who are still working on making consistent contact with the ball. (Consistent contact means having the ability to send and receive and resend the ball over the net several times in a row.) This class is designed to teach basic strokes while using the proper grip. This program is designed to be progressive (each lesson building on the skills learned in previous classes) so please plan to attend as many of the classes that you can. The class is 90 minutes, with at least 60 minutes of instruction, followed by games designed to get players rallying. ADVANCED Beginners are also welcome to attend this class, but keep in mind that the lesson plan will cater to the newer players, so expect to review the basics. - Coach Laura
