1. DRAW, SCORING FORMATS, DRAW PUBLICATION, EARLIEST MATCH START TIMES

Singles format -  FIC-16 with Quarterfinal and 3rd/4th Playoffs; two tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak at one set all, regular scoring.

Doubles format - SE with 3rd/4th playoff; 8 game pro-set with 7 point tiebreak at 8 games all, no ad scoring.

Draw publication - Draw will be made and posted 4 days prior to start of tournament.

Contingent on weather.  If forecast is good:  Saturday will be 2 round of doubles and 2 rounds of singles.  Sunday will likely be 1 round of doubles and 2 rounds of singles, followed by doubles semi-finals.  

Saturday:

CHECK-IN : 7:15 to 7:45 AM (TOURNAMENT DESK - PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK IN ON TIME)

WARM-UP : 7:00 to 7:50 AM (COURTS 1 THROUGH 18)

ROUND OF 32 BOYS' 18&U - 8:00 AM.

ROUND OF 16 BOYS' 18&U - NOT BEFORE 11:30 AM.

CONSOLATION 1C-R16-Q BOYS' 18&U - NOT BEFORE 11:30 AM.

DOUBLES ROUND OF 16 BOYS' 18&U - NOT BEFORE  2:00 PM.

TENTATIVE SECOND DOUBLES MATCH

8. PRACTICE COURTS

 

Practice Courts:

Players wishing to practice prior to the event may do so by reserving a court up to in advance at www.miamidadeparks.com 

Warm-Up Courts:

Courts will be available at 7am for warm-up during the tournament days.

Starting at 8AM there will be one court available for warm-ups and priority will be for the next matches on. Players must share and will be limited to 30 mins. If no one is waiting then you can hit longer. Ex. 9AM mathces will have 30 mins to warm up starting at 8AM. 9:30 AM matches will have 30 mins starting at 8:30 and so on.

Reund Policy:  

Once the deadline has passed no refunds will be given if a player is selected for the tournament. If you want to withdraw and not be selelcted, then you need to do so before the deadline and players are selected.

Sportsmanship and the USTA Champion’s Pledge: All participants shall familiarize themselves with The Code which is meant to be a guide to fair play. Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family member, coaches and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”
